I am struck with the concept of Jesus loving me personally. It is a challenging idea to take in. I want to, but what if I open to it and I only feel rejection? Time to take the risk!

I feel like I have been here before, but there is a difference. In the past, I always thought of it as my project, my new hobby, my new way. I thought somehow, I had to be the actor. I was struck by Fr Mahoney’s vigorous insistance that any good we do at all begins first with God’s action, NOT mine. Be my follower, Jesus asks. Takes a lot more trust to do it His way!
